An automated browser visits your website like an ordinary customer: once without choosing anything, once after clicking "Reject all", and once after "Accept all". Each time we note who the website sends data to.

We are honest about what we can and cannot do. We are not lawyers: we show you what your website actually does – not whether it is legal. Use the report to clean up, and ask a lawyer if you are unsure.

  • Our banner stops most tracking automatically. Some code has to be tagged by hand – our test finds it, and we sort it out together with whoever runs your site.
  • Some things no banner can stop, for example tracking that goes through the website's own server. We often see that in the test – and tell you.
  • How we test, and what we cannot see, is open to everyone.

How do you test my website?

Like a brand-new customer – see How it works. The report shows which companies received data and the names of cookies, never their contents. We never share the result with anyone but you.

I already have a cookie banner. What happens when I switch?

We add one small piece of code at the top of the website and remove the old banner – together with you, or ourselves if you give us access. Afterwards we test again and show the difference.

What is ready now, and what is coming?

Ready now: the test, the report and the banner. Being tried out: regular tests and the combined report for agencies. Coming: your agency's logo on the report, IAB TCF and Shopify.

Where is the data stored?

On servers in the EU. The customer's choice in the banner is stored only in their own browser – we receive no personal data from the banner.
